Statement of Support

Independent Living (IL) is a way of thinking and living. It is about having the right to make choices, living where you want to live, having control over the supports you need, and following your dreams. It is about finding solutions that work for you. At the ILRC, people with and without disabilities have come together to find a new way of doing things.

Objectives of the ILRC
  1. To promote and enable Independent Living for persons who have disabilities,
  2. To provide supports, resources and opportunities for empowerment, which enable persons with disabilities to make informed choices about their lives, and
  3. To follow the principles of consumer control, cross-disability, community responsiveness, and equity.
You can download, print or even fill out the membership form online by clicking on one of the links below. If you download or print the form, please return the completed application to the ILRC.
You can find all of our contact information on the Contact Us page.
