Voices of the People We are very pleased to release our Voices of the People report on such a significant day. Earlier this year we conducted a series of town hall meetings throughout the province to hear what people with disabilities have to say about the things that influence their day to day living. For more information, please visit the IL Canada website at www.ilcanada.ca. The ILRC - St. John's will be hosting an Open House between 1:00pm and 4:00pm today, December 3. Please join us in celebration International Day! ILRC Christmas Dinner and Dance On December 5th, 2008, the ILRC will hold our annual Christmas Dinner and Dance. Come join us at St. Teresa's Parish Hall for a night of food, fun and friends! Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the ILRC. Tickets will NOT be available at the door. Please book your own transportation. Salvation Army Christmas Hampers On Thursday, November 6, 2008 Major Green will be coming to the ILRC to share information about how people can access Salvation Army Christmas Hampers. And a special thank you to everyone who made such generous donations to our BBQ. We couldn't have done it without you! Recently we've hosted focus groups to get input from consumers on their thoughts and experiences with home supports, housing, adverse health events, adult learning, and transportation.
